Intermediate Jazz Dance A
This class continues the study of techniques and skills of jazz dance. Students are required to attend dance performances and write a report on them. A minimum of one report per quarter is required. Students are required to choreograph a combination in any style of jazz dance of no less than 32 counts and present it to the class.
Prerequisites: Beginning jazz with a C grade or better or permission of instructor.
Intermediate Jazz Dance B, C
Further study of the techniques and skills of jazz dance. Students are required to attend dance performances and write a report on them. A minimum of one report per quarter is required. Students are required to choreograph a combination in any style of jazz dance of no less than 64 counts and present and teach this combination to the class.
Prerequisites: Two-year class. For Jazz B - Jazz A with a C grade or better or permission of instructor. For Jazz C - Jazz B with a C grade or better or permisision of instructor.
