This is one of the most rigorous and academic courses you will experience in the drama department. This course is only available at RSA. All other high school students will have to wait for college to gain this kind of in-depth training and experience. This course takes the students through time as they study the history and literature of the different styles of acting through the ages. You will learn how to act like the Greeks did in 500 B.C., develop Shakespearean acting skills, understand the Restoration period of drama, go berserk in Absurd Comedy, and gain deeper knowledge of how theatre has reflected society throughout time.

Pre-requisite: Theatre 1 and Acting Basics. You must be in the Magnet to take this class. This one-year course counts for the A-G Visual and Performing Arts Requirement, FUSD Fine Arts Requirement, and/or Elective Credit.
