Latin/Jazz/Marimba
The goal of class is to perform at the highest musical level possible and represent Roosevelt and its community in a professional manner. Students in this class will various styles of Latin music such as cumbia, son, mambo, meringue, bembe and bolero. Students will perform in public as well as various jazz festivals.
Prerequisite: audition required, must be in band or orchestra.
